His father died on a lottery expedition when he was 5 years old. His mother receives child support from Chara’s father but the man refuses to have anything else to do with the family. His mother works as a crophand. They are Dreggs, the lowest class of DarKota. He used to fight in the Arcade before he was recruited as a security guard.

Kano has a smart mouth and major authority issues. He likes to make people laugh and has a deep dislike for the Elite class. He is extremely protective of his mom and sister. He is unorganized but tolerant and generous. He is strong, confident in his skills in all forms of combat, a natural marksman, and impulsive. He is friendly and a true community member.
